A few weeks ago, we celebrated the launch of our book, Great Tastes, at one of our favorite Manhattan spots, The Polo Bar. The equestrian room, tucked away downstairs adjacent to the main dining room and a floor below what might be one of our favorite bar rooms in New York City, was the perfect place to gather together our friends and family to celebrate such a momentous occasion.
The thing we love about The Polo Bar is that it feels like it’s been a New York City landmark for decades (It’s easy to forget that it just opened a couple of years ago). The attention to detail, warmth and iconic menu and design (not to mention the best Martini in the city) make it an instant classic.
On the menu for the night? The simple dishes that make Polo Bar so great: The perfect Caeser salad, mini Reuben sandwiches, tuna tartar, and of course, the now-famous Polo Bar burger.
