You’ve seen our #NoScrolling man; he’s there to warn you when you’re mindlessly scrolling through a feature at the speed of a Snapchat, encouraging you to back up because you might be missing something. We know we’re not the only ones out there producing content worth your while, which is why every Saturday, we’ll curate a #NoScrolling reading list. Just like our favorite classic movies or the restaurants we’re regulars at, they’ll be content we want to consume then come back to (maybe even multiple times over!)…
Danielle and Laura are no doubt diving into this new Richard Avedon book over the holidays while they’re in Lake Placid!
The David Hockney MET exhibit was one Danielle was most excited to see, which is why the book is something we think you should absolutely pick up.
Laura never goes without reading New York Magazine’s ‘Reasons To Love NY’ issue. It’s impossible to cap the number of reasons, but New York Magazine somehow manages to.
This might be the perfect time to read Amor Towles Rules Of Civility. Set in the gorgeous 20’s Manhattan social scene, it’s one of our absolute favorites and begins at an unassuming jazz club on New Year’s Eve.
Jess Walter’s Beautiful Ruins is the perfect vacation read, starting on the Italian coast south of Genoa, then traveling through time to Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor’s Hollywood, then again to a more modern Los Angeles…You’ll have trouble putting it down.
The new issue of Holiday – the most delectable magazine/book you’ll possibly ever lay eyes and hands on – celebrates all things Denmark. We love Scandinavian culture, so it’s high on our reading list, and perfect for a plane ride.
