Our No Scrolling Reading List, Issue #8

You’ve seen our #NoScrolling man; he’s there to warn you when you’re mindlessly scrolling through a feature at the speed of a Snapchat, encouraging you to back up because you might be missing something. We know we’re not the only ones out there producing content worth your while, which is why every Saturday, we’ll curate a #NoScrolling reading list. Just like our favorite classic movies or the restaurants we’re regulars at, they’ll be content we want to consume then come back to (maybe even multiple times over!). Issue 8, coming at you…

No Man’s Land is, officially and without a doubt, one of our favorite releases of 2017. The Wing’s first foray into print debuted this week, and Laura cannot get enough of the woman-centric content.

Speaking of cool women’s magazines, Danielle is enamored with the latest edition of Unconditional. This magazine is a TNP go-to, to say the least.

We’ve been big fans of Chrissy Teigen’s since we interviewed her (over a plate of pasta no less). With the chillier weather, we’re revisiting her cookbook for cozy, indulgent recipes.

You’ll Grow Out of It by Jessi Klein is Catherine’s subway read this week. She is always drawn to personal essays from women, but particularly wanted to read this after watching Klein in Big Mouth on Netflix.

The entire team is obsessed with Edward Enninful’s first British Vogue cover. It is a true nod to 1970’s opulence and increased diversity. #NewVogue We couldn’t be prouder to have featured him on TNP, and we cannot wait to see what he continues to do.

One of Laura’s favorite things is the Michelangelo Exhibit up right now at the MET. Can’t make it there #IRL? The book is a close second option.

Lartigue: Life in Color is a great book for anyone into photography; Danielle always goes back to it when she needs a little inspiration. If you can’t jet away on a tropical vacation to a warm locale, this is a quality second option, and it’s the perfect antidote to dreary, grey New York weather.
