Not too long ago we were obsessed with putting an egg on everything. Then came our fascination with avocado toast. The world had its moment with Matcha (well, it’s still having its moment), and once we got over the infamous cronut craze, we set our eyes and stomachs on kouign-amann, and haven’t looked back. Now, one of the latest ingredient trends is chia. Much like acai berries, chia seeds have been dubbed a superfood as they are full of antioxidants and are a good source of fiber.
