Last week, we swung by Dirt Candy on the Lower East Side for an amazing lunch with Bite Beauty and The Cut to celebrate the new Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche collection. The collection includes thirty-four shades of mouth-watering lipsticks (literally – they smell delicious) inspired by some of our favorite foods, drinks and ingredients – from Honeycomb and Sour Cherry to Kimchi and Sangria.
The lunch – a collaboration between Bite Beauty and chef/owner of Dirt Candy Amanda Cohen – was a perfect celebration of the line. Cohen served plant-based small bites (or, Amuse Bouches) inspired by the lipsticks. From Carrot Meringue to a bright and fresh Pickled Radish Salad, each bite was more exciting than the next. The tablescapes read almost like a rainbow of color – the lipsticks were peppered like candlesticks throughout and surrounded by their ingredient counterparts (think bright red flowers, raw beets, and red shades to match). Peruse above for our Instagram diary from the event, and – once finished – head over to shop our full feature on our favorite new lipsticks.
