Try This Minimal Beauty Routine

We’ve been patiently waiting all winter long for tonight’s return of Nashville. So, when we had the chance to talk shop with the gorgeous Aubrey Peeples, we were especially pumped. We’re already pretty envious of the songbird’s ethereal voice and natural beauty, but now we’re also envious of her minimalistic beauty routine. It’s a good reminder to keep things simple. Less is more.

On her morning and nightly beauty routines…

I usually take a shower in the morning and I try to take a bath most nights. I wash with African Black Soap, and use Living Proof shampoo and conditioner. I only wash my hair maybe every three days. If I’m too busy to shower before sleeping or going about my day, I wash my face with tea tree oil products. When I take a bath, I add a few scoops of coconut oil to the water. At night, I use Quench by Kate Somerville and then Kiehl’s facial moisturizer. And that’s really about it. I rarely wear makeup in my everyday life, or “do” my hair. I keep it simple. I’ll put on some mineral powder and mascara if I’m feeling fancy. If I have a performance, I use Armani liquid foundation.
