Sex And The City’s Carrie Bradshaw frequented the term “fabulous” and in our opinion it’s a term not used enough these days. It’s also exactly how we’d describe the event we hosted Monday with Riviera Catering and Silverstein Properties celebrating the launch of WTC360 – a fabulous new 34,000 square foot event space with floor to ceiling windows and panoramic views of Manhattan. Guess you know where you’re hosting your next event, right?
Riviera Caterers – helmed by Andrew Cavitolo and Bobby Stern – is the fourth generation hospitality guru (and oldest, most iconic catering company in New York) who teamed up with the building’s star developer – Silverstein Properties – to be the exclusive event producers for this new private space on the 68th floor of 4 World Trade.
The proof was in the pudding Monday night as Riviera filled the space with pass arounds and mini installations that included a pretzel wall, custom roll-around sushi carts, pork bun food trucks, bespoke mixology bars and even a hidden speakeasy behind the kitchen hosting mini champagne bottles and a singer a la the 20’s flapper girl. As for the band? We were graced by Riley Mulherkar’s incredible band (who frequents Wynton Marsalis’ Dizzy’s Jazz Club At Lincoln Center) that delighted us with upbeat swing-era Jazz. It was a night to be remembered. Peruse our photos above for ideas for next year’s holiday party…
