Ingredients:
4 Egg Yolks
1/2 cup Sugar
1 1/2 cups Whole Milk
1 1/2 cups Cream
1 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Pinch Cinnamon
4 ounces Bourbon
Directions:
In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside
In a medium saucepan, combine milk, cream, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Bring to a simmer. Temper the egg yolks by whisking 1/3 the hot mixture into the egg yolk mixture. Return the saucepan back to the stove and bring to a simmer once again. When simmering, whisk in the tempered egg yolks. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and pour in a clean bowl. Stir in the bourbon and refrigerate until chilled. Serve with nutmeg garnish.
