In addition to its energy enhancing qualities, matcha is associated with mood regulation, increased metabolism, and antioxidant power. It makes a wonderful addition to smoothies (especially if you’re trying to kick the coffee habit).”
Makes 2 Servings (16 to 20 Ounces)
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
1⁄4 ripe avocado
1 banana, frozen
1 1⁄2 cups almond milk or nondairy milk of choice
2 teaspoons maple syrup or 1 pitted Medjool date
1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Wash and prep all ingredients.
2. Blend till smooth and serve.
