If you haven’t gathered it by now, we’re iced coffee addicts. Actually, we’re coffee addicts in general; it’s our thing let it go. Recently we’ve become more caffeine-obsessed now that we know we can actually add collagen to our coffee. No, it’s not an order you may place at your local Starbucks, but it’s something you can DIY at home with a new favorite supplement of ours – Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides.
For those potatoheads who don’t know, collagen is a protein responsible for the cohesion, elasticity, and regeneration of skin; aka the beautiful fresh faced look we’re all constantly going for (and don’t want to wait for the ‘pregnant glow’ to get). The collagen in Vital Proteins’ supplement promotes younger looking skin, improves skin moisture level, skin smoothness and suppleness and helps eliminate signs of deep wrinkles. Yes, your nightly face cream probably boasts the same results. but we also love beauty from the inside out here at TNP. Maintaining and building collagen internally promotes anti-inflammatory actions that help heal damaged and inflamed skin, improve bone and joint health, and helps in weight management.
The Collagen Peptides are virtually odorless and tasteless, making them extremely versatile. We chose a delicious iced coffee recipe as the easiest way to add the peptides to your daily routine. If you don’t drink coffee, feel free to add the flavorless, protein-packed supplement to tea, smoothies, green juice and the like. More importantly, tell us your secret to staying awake..
