How to Boil Lobster
Step 1: Bring a large pot of very salty water to a boil.
Step 2: When the water is boil, add the lobsters head first into the water. When the water comes back to a boil, time the cooking.
1 Pound Lobster: 12-14 minutes
1.5 Pound Lobster: 14-18 minutes
2 Pound Lobster or bigger: 20-25 minutes
Step 3: Remove lobsters from the pot, cool slightly before eating.
How to Grill Lobster
Step 1: Split the lobster tails lengthwise down the middle.
Step 2: Brush with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Sprinkle with Kosher Salt and Smoked Paprika.
Step 3: Place lobster tails on a medium-high heat grill with the meat facing up. Close the grill, cook for 8-9 minutes until the shells have turned bright red and the meat is white and opaque. Serve with lemon wedges.
How to Cook Lobster Tail in the Oven
Ingredients:
2 Lobster Tails, split down the middle lengthwise
2 tablespoons Butter
2 Garlic Cloves, smashed
1 tablespoon Parsley, chopped
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a small saucepan, combine butter and garlic over medium heat. Once butter is melted, cook for 1 minute and remove from heat. Let sit for 5 minutes. Season the the lobster tails with salt and pepper to taste. Brush generously with the garlic butter. Place in a baking dish, flesh side up. Cover with foil, bake for 20-25 minutes. Meat should be opaque and firm. Remove the lobster tails from the oven. Sprinkle chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
