How To Make The Ultimate Moscow Mule

It’s official, this is going to be the warmest weekend we’ve had here on the East coast for 2015. Besides showering Mom with gifts, there’s also the question of cocktails. What’s the favorite? We’re all about Moscow Mules when it starts to get warm. Jeremy Strawn of Lazy Point showed us how two perfect variations…


“The traditional Moscow Mule is pretty simple: 2oz Reyka Vodka and .75oz fresh squeezed lime juice poured into a copper mug and topped with Pellet Ice. Then pour Fentimans Ginger Beer (really sharp bite and low sugar) to the top of the mug and garnish with a lime wheel.”

The Pistachio Mule

We have a great variation at Lazy Point called the Pistachio Mule made with house made pistachio vodka and fresh ginger juice (rather than ginger beer).

2oz pistachio-infused Reyka Vodka

.75oz fresh squeezed lime juice

.75oz Simple Syrup

.5oz Fresh Ginger Juice

Shake and strain into copper mug

Add ice and top with splash of soda water

Garnish with lime wedge
