How To Make A Margarita

Some may say it’s beach season, but we say it’s margarita season: So sue us. But seriously, what’s spring and summer without its most important cocktail counterpart? Here’s how to make a margarita three perfect ways…

Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces Tequila

4 ounces Blood Orange Juice

1 ounce fresh Lime Juice

1/2 ounce Orange Liqueur

Blood Orange Slice, for garnish

Lime Wedge, for garnish

Directions:

Mix all ingredients well. Pour over ice and serve with blood orange and lime garnish.

Spicy Cucumber Margarita

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces Tequila

2 ounces fresh Lime Juice

1/4 Cucumber, peeled and cut into medium pieces

2-3 slices Jalapeño, plus more for garnish

1 tablespoon Agave Nectar

1/4 cup ice

Chili Salt, optional, for the rim

Cucumber slices, for garnish

Directions:

In a blender combine tequila, lime juice, cucumber, jalapeño slices, agave nectar, and ice. Blend on the high speed until pureed and smooth. Prepare the glass by wetting the rim and dipping into the chili salt. Pour in the margarita mixture and garnish with a slice of cucumber and jalapeño.

Traditional Margarita

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces Tequila

1 ounce Triple Sec

1 1/2 ounces fresh Lime Juice

Lime Slice, for garnish

Directions:

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a slice of lime.
