I’ll Have What She’s Having

Our aim this morning is to make you drool, and perhaps give you ideas for a more interesting breakfast than you’re having. Here’s a breakfast roundup of all the morning go-tos from some of our favorite tastemakers…

Camilla Belle: The gorgeous actress does a delicious breakfast when she’s back from her morning workout that alternates between a scramble with veggies, yogurt with berries and granola, an acai bowl, or Irish oatmeal. A. Can we have all of this at once? B. Can we have it even if we don’t do a morning workout?

Kiernan Shipka: The Mad Men actress is on the avocado toast train. Who isn’t really? How does she make hers? “Avocado with a squeeze of lemon, some salt, chili flakes, and pepper…it’s kind of the perfect breakfast.” See how we do avocado toast 7 ways…

Kris Jenner: Jenner claims, “in a dream world, I would probably start with a waffle or French toast.” How about in a real world? Bueller? Anyone?

Jennifer Fisher: The jewelry designer’s breakfast sounds as yummy as her bling…yeah, we said bling. Fisher has a muddy Americano with steamed cream on the side, followed by a simple egg omelette with greens and herbs.

Gabrielle Bernstein: For breakfast, this New York Times best-selling author likes a Mexican scramble, consisting of scrambled eggs with Pico de Gallo, guacamole, and black beans on a brown rice wrap with Yerba Mate. Drooling at 9 AM anyone?

Daphne Oz : Oz’s breakfast is of the ‘naughty or nice’ persuasion. One gets her on Santa’s good list, the other on his shit list:

Nice: A smoothie loaded with frozen fruit, a handful of kale or spinach, fresh lime juice, yogurt or almond milk, flax and/or chia seeds and almond butter for breakfast.

Naughty: An everything bagel with cream cheese.

Katie Lee: The food personality starts her ideal food day deliciously, with coffee and a croissant from Loaves and Fishes, and ripe peaches and berries.

Katie Finneran: What’s better than a morning shake? Theater star Katie Finneran agrees, and her go-to is a shake with water, Athletic Greens, whey protein powder, berry powder by Synergy, peanut butter, and Greek yogurt.

Pilar Guzmán: The Condé Nast Traveler Editor-in-Chief is of the parisian persuasion. She says, “I often do breakfast at Balthazar – the soft-boiled eggs and toast points. The other thing that’s great at Balthazar is the gruyère and fines herbs omelette. I love Buvette; they do eggs with fava beans and it’s delicious.” We’re giving you options people.

Reece Solomon: The designer needs her protein and caffeine with poached eggs over smoked salmon and coffee with almond milk.

Alexandra Shulman:  The British Vogue Editor-in-Chief keeps it simple with rye toast with honey and coffee, proving that everything Brits do just sounds more pleasant.
