For blogger Rumi Neely, fashion is less just something you wear, and more of an exploration. Her site – Fashion Toast – takes her and her audience around the world in a kind of style diary that stands out from other personal style blogs. We always want everything she features…it’s actually a bit of a problem.

We stopped by The Little Door in Los Angeles (one of Neely’s favorite spots) for tidbits on everything health, food and fashion from the blogger herself. Clearly, the shoot couldn’t have been easier, and we were rushing to Reformation afterwards…

What would be your ideal food day?

A homemade almond milk latte and a spinach, strawberry. banana, coconut water, and almond smoothie. Salad and green juice at Mauro’s Cafe on Melrose. Dinner at Brushstroke in Tribeca.

What’s your drink?

A Moscow Mule with eight times more ginger and lime than is required to qualify it as such.

How do you start your day on a good note?

Boyfriend scent, Instagram notifications that make me smile, access to my espresso machine and Blendtec, and a particularly brutal Pilates class.

What are some of your healthy routines?

Being open to talking to anyone and not being able to sit still.

What’s your afternoon snack? 

Any roasted seaweed product, goji berries and almonds, and a carrot/orange/ginger juice.

What’s always in your fridge and why?

Taste Nirvana coconut water, strawberries, some leaves, champagne, and hot sauce. I haven’t been cooking a ton lately.

What are you favorite places to travel to?

Tokyo, Paris, Stockholm, Palm Springs, Lake Tahoe, and anywhere I haven’t been before.

What won’t you travel without?

My Canon and go-to lenses, Time, one French moisturizer or another, Molami earbuds, a Puku portable iPhone charger, Caudalie Beauty Elixir, scissors, one of each shoe type I own, pocket heaters, Nina Ricci’s ballet bag, Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment, and apples. When I’m feeling crazy, I cook quinoa and put it in tiny jars to have in-flight – but those only make it through security about half the time.
