TNP Tastemakers

We always ask tastemakers what their ideal dinner party would be, and it just so happens that when looking back, we see that many would make for an awesome Golden Globes party. We did a roundup of our top ten ideal gatherings on TNP that we’d love to actually happen Sunday (if they could). As for our own ideal Golden Globes party, we have a standing invitation for Amy Poehler and Tina Fey to come kick back after the big show; don’t worry guys, no RSVP required…

Bryanboy: Nan Kempner, Diana Vreeland, Andy Warhol, Ryan Gosling, and Naomi Campbell. I’ll serve spaghetti, chicken wings and a lot of champagne.

Cynthia Rowley: I’d have the ultimate art dinner…Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Peggy Guggenheim, Richard Prince and Cy Twombly.

Meghan Markle: Anthony Bourdain, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mario Batali, Jamie Oliver, and my best friend Lindsay. Those are solid chefs and foodies that I would be in awe of eating with, but that wouldn’t feel intimidating to cook for because they seem fun.

Brad Goreski: Marilyn Monroe, Marie Antoinette, Gianni Versace, Jay Z , and Jackie Onassis.

Eva Chen: Sheryl Sandberg, Marissa Mayer, Jenna Lyons (because I’m obsessed with her), Oprah, and Martha Stewart. If anyone couldn’t come, Michelle Obama and Ellen Degeneres would be next up! It would be less of a dinner and more of a book club. I’d like to have a book club with these women – or a discussion group. And I’d just sit and listen to the wisdom.

Perez Hilton: Madonna, Oprah, Angelina Jolie, Jesus, and my father. I would talk about things that people were passionate about. That always leads to good conversation.

Misha Nonoo: I would invite Diane Von Furstenberg, the Queen, Ray Charles, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Coco Chanel and I would serve Duck Cassoulet and Krug.

Diane Von Furstenberg: Leonardo da Vinci, Cleopatra, Man Ray and Marlene Dietrich. We would all sit on pillows on the floor; it would be like a big buffet and there would be Jane’s Chicken Tagine….

Jessica Seinfeld: Eleanor Roosevelt, my grandmother, Edie and Little Edie Beale from Grey Gardens, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Mario Batali. I’d serve baby back ribs and chicken wings, extra hot.

Hilary Rhoda: Bill Clinton, Dennis Quaid, James Brown, Oprah and Ina Garten. We’d cook some amazing Bolognese Pasta with Roasted Cauliflower and Brussels Sprouts and Mashed Pea Crostinis with Mint and Shaved Parmesan.
