Alice Lemoine

How do French women always seem consistently chic and completely effortless? It’s a question for the ages, and one that’s been asked thousands upon thousands of times before. With designer Alice Lemoine, we found ourselves having that same American-women-French-women-envy at her showroom in Paris.

A prodigy of Rick Owens, Lemoine has now launched her own collection, Lemoine Tricote, a gorgeous curation of pieces that mix knitting and silks (among other things) to create modern, cozy, creative wares. We chatted with Lemoine — newly pregnant and absolutely glowing — on all things lifestyle. After all, who doesn’t want food and fashion tidbits from a French insider? Yeah, that’s what we thought.
