It’s a sisters kind of week; Danielle and I are taking a TNP trip to Paris and the power sister duo behind hit jewelry line DANNIJO – Danielle Snyder and Jodie Snyder Morel – are celebrating their five-year anniversary! It’s hard to put these two into words, as being around them (and their partner in crime, Eddie the Earring of course) makes you forget you’re actually supposed to be working. That’s just how fun they are. Their jewelry line is an addictive bevy of Bibb necklaces, costume earrings, “arm party” worthy bracelets (as they coin it)…the delicious list goes on. And speaking of deliciousness, we sat down with the two beauties at their favorite restaurant – Blue Ribbon Sushi – for some S and M…(sushi and metals).

Describe your ideal food day…

Breakfast: Eggs Benedict with lox and a salad. Vanilla Soy Latte and fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Lunch: Sushi and salad with ginger dressing

Dinner: All things Italian! Pasta Marinara, Veal Picatta and Publix birthday cake for dessert at some point.

What’s your drink?

Vanilla Soy Latte in the morning, Bloody Mary for happy hour, Kirin Light with sushi and Black and Soda for a night out.

What would your last meal be?

An Italian feast

How do you start your day on a good note?

With brushed teeth, coffee and a workout, followed by a wholesome breakfast.

What are some of your healthy routines?

Brushing and flossing my teeth (my dad always reminds me, “be true to your teeth or they’ll be false to you”), morning workouts, staying hydrated, moisturizing and getting plenty of sleep.

What catches your eye on every menu?

Anything with carbs.

What are your favorite places to travel to?

Mexico, Italy and anywhere with a beach

What won’t you travel without?

Running shoes

Where do you draw inspiration from?

New York street style, old movies, musical festival culture and all things African and Native American Indian.

What ingredient do you consider overrated?

Kale (I used to love it, but I O.D.ed)

What ingredient are you convinced makes everything better?

Ketchup or Peanut Butter…think about it.

Your afternoon snack…

Oatmeal with nuts/berries and some form of dessert

What’s always in your fridge?

Vanilla soy milk, almond milk, eggs, strawberries, sparkling water and coconut water

What’s always in your bag?

Eyelash curler, chapstick, red lipstick, keys, iPhone

Your go-to recipe for eating in…

Peanut Butter and Jelly if I’m home alone or fish tacos and guacamole if I have company.

Favorite night of the week and why?

Friday because you don’t have to worry about an early Saturday morning.

What’s a typical lunch at the showroom?

Big, yummy salads or sandwiches followed by Pinkberry or cookies.

What are your favorite New York restaurants?

Blue Ribbon Sushi, Emilio’s Ballato, Kingswood, Nobu, Bar Pitti

Eddie the Earring’s favorite foods and why…

Sushi and Russian Ossetra Caviar. Jodie always makes him Croque Madames though…

If you could have a dinner party with five people, living or dead, who would be there?

Kristin Wiig, Larry David, Eddie the Earring, Ed Bradley, Robert De Niro, and if I get an extra invite, I’d bring Gregory Peck as my date.
