From the same guys behind downtown favorites like Wilfie and Nell and The Wren – The Penrose is an Upper East Side gastropub that is no doubt a rarity in the district. With a scene seemingly too cool for the area it’s in – the spot is a great place to eat and drink casually while still being where you’re “supposed” to be.
