McSorley’s is New York’s oldest Irish tavern. A classic old alehouse with an Irish-pub aesthetic that hasn’t been touched since its start – it’ been a Manhattan fixture since 1854. It’s the kind of place you’d find the founding Fathers – most definitely a time capsule in every sense of the phrase. We’ve heard the sharp cheddar cheese with raw white onion is unexpectedly the best thing on the menu, and of course the dark ales are always satisfying…

“We like to go to McSorleys around the corner for a beer. Our inspiration comes from places that have lasted, and why they have lasted.” – Robin Standefer  (Roman & Williams)

“McSorley’s. It’s stood the test of time.” – Jim Meehan (Mixologist, Please Don’t Tell)
