It’s here…New York fashion week – and we have a feeling that the amazing Anna Wintour is on a rooftop somewhere commanding the Noreaster away from the Manhattan shorelines. It may just work, so we’ve got the ultimate fashion week lineup for you, starting with the lovely Rebecca Minkoff. Rather than reviewing the spring collections, we’ll cover the haunts, routines and favorite foods of the top tastemakers in the fashion world, starting with this amazing designer (her Fall 2013 collection will show today at Lincoln Center), who’s undoubtedly achieved an incredible foothold in and out of her industry in a short amount of time.

Describe your ideal food day…

A bagel from Murray’s for breakfast, ABC Kitchen for lunch and Acme for dinner! Yum.

What’s your drink?

In the summer, it’s a margarita. In winter, it’s a hot toddy.

What would your last meal be?

A slice of New York pizza, followed by as many twix bars as I could stomach.

How do you start your day on a good note?

Cuddling with my son Luca.

What’s your splurge?

Mexican food. I love rice and beans!

Where do you go for inspiration?

In New York I visit museums and the library, but when I’m out of the country I love visiting flea markets and vintage stores.

What are your favorite places to travel to?

Italy and Turkey.

What won’t you travel without?

My eye mask for the plane.

What trend do you consider overrated?

I’m a little over ombre hair.

What trend are you loving?

The stacking and layering of jewelry. The more the better!

A Think Thin bar – chocolate peanut bar to be specific.

What’s always in your fridge?

Wine, Water and Berries

A salad; I’ll add cooked garlic, toasted almonds, beats and goat cheese – it’s so good!
